- כַּוְנָאor כּוּנָא m. (v. כַּוָּוא; cmp. חוֹפֶן a. כַּף) the hollow of the hand, handful (as a measure), spoonful (mostly in medicine; cmp. Lat. coclear). (Editions, except ed. Sonc., have ב׳, Ar. a. Mss. כ׳, v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. c. infra.
